Pictures to enjoy

There is a house near my parents that has this unusual art-piece in the front yard.  I'd always meant to get a photo of it, and this trip I went to the door and asked permission to snap a few shots.
I just love it!
I hadn't realized, from driving by, that there was more to be seen in this yard than just the ball tree.
Wiffle balls too!
I wanted to give you some visual entertainment before I start doing the blah, blah, blah thing.  So now here goes.  When I got home from Missouri, my husband was all happy to show me how he had been cleaning, changed out some burned out bulbs and bought hand soap for all the sinks.  He even changed the cat box.  Yup.  He changed the cat box all by himself.  Filled it with cat food. Yup that's what I said.  He filled it with cat food. After apologizing to Miss Kitten, I dumped the food, and replace with litter.  Poor Kitten jumped right in and peed for 5 minutes.

This morning I wanted to stash some stuff in the attic, so I decided to change the furnace filter while I was up there.  It was installed backwards (by guess whom), and had folded in half and was blowing dirty air into the furnace and back down into the house. Ugh.

Oh.  My doctor visit?  He says "good job" and keep doing what I am doing.  I am totally off all allergy medications and blood pressure pills.  His new prescription? Fifteen minutes of sitting in the sun every day.  You gotta love that.

Oh my gosh, I am cracking up! Your husband sounds like MY husband. He is a love, but about as handy as a heat attack we always say!!!! CAT FOOD in the litter pan!!! That's a good one!! Interesting lawn art. Glad they don't live next door to me!!! Have you been ill? I hope not, but glad you are better.

Gotta love the new Vitamin D prescription.
I understand what you are saying. I got new kitchen faucets because the last installer didn't read the directions and since I have a double sink you want the faucet to swing to either side. Since it wouldn't someone took a pipe wrench to it. Need I say more. I love my new faucet that was installed by a real plumber.

That sounds like how my husband helps, lol. That is why I send him off to the spa, so I can get things done;) Glad you are doing better. I am pool exercising everyday, but still have a long way to go. My mom always sat us in the sun when we were sick, seemed to work.

Cat food? Seriously?? Oh my. I just don't know what to say to that. I think you need to get a cat sitter for Kitten when you leave. Poor Kitten. So happy to hear your health issues are doing better:)
