My Janome Still Works!

I reunited the old Janome with it's power cord and actually turned it on and sewed this weekend.  It was a Silver Thimble weekend, but I only got to stay a couple of hours.  I got started on a fan quilt kit I'd bought at Share the Spirit Quilt Shop in Duluth before it closed a couple of years ago.  When I'd bought it, the kit was short on aqua background fabric so I purchased yellow.  Later, at Quilter's Station in Lee's Summit, MO, I found the same aqua.  I wasn't sure which color I'd use until I laid the fan out on both:
The yellow and then the aqua
Maybe a combination?
Time to think about it.
I think better in Tony Lamas.

I like the blue at least from these photos. It makes the fabrics pop a little more. LOVE the boots!!!

Great combination of florals to go in a fan quilt.
I used to wear boots all the time, but my feet got fatter, lol.

The first night I had these boots (Friday), I didn't want to take them off. My husband threatened to photograph me in my flannel jammies while I ate breakfast the next morning. Who needs slippers? Karmen

I like the aqua and I love the boots. I found a pair of Larado boots at a store called Plato's Closet, a store Megan took us to . They only had one size, 5 1/2 or I would be wearing them today.
