O M G

My last hexagon motif:
Now to choose what color to join them with.
Black?
A light print?
Here's what the print looks like close up:
Tea dyed muslin?
Or light muslin?
Mom, you tell me.
And here is an example of what I do in my spare time:
Blanket the water heater. Exciting huh?
It is 9 p.m. on New Year's Eve and I am in my pjs watching (after I finish this post) the entertainment on TV. I am all about risk avoidance. I hope everyone stays safe so we can all enjoy 2014. Hawk tooey to 2013. I won't miss it.

I love the floral prints you are using, that is going to be gorgeous. We stay home too, but I have the flu so wouldn't matter, lol. Bill is using his time off to rip up the cabinets and put the new ones in, so hope he can finish the bottom in a few days, I want my kitchen back.

I hope the new year brings you joy and happiness.

I like the black background, makes all the pretty colours pop. As for exciting evenings I will be sitting here with my doggy waiting for the witching hour and the new year, maybe have myself a drink or two and celebrate the fact that I survived 2013. you too?

Your hexagon motifs are really pretty. They seem to show up better on the darker background to me. We stayed home, too, and toasted the New Year with sparkling grape juice. Really racy, huh? LOL

I like the black background! The darkness of it really allows the hexis to pop. I think a really really dark plum/purple would look good too.

P.S. Happy New Year to you! May it bring you all the happiness you can handle and then some.
